How to live with Pain: Understanding, adapting, and thriving

Pain is integral part of our nervous system's response to the world and how we experience it. From our relationships to our daily routines, every aspect of our lives can be interrupted, changed, or stopped outright by pain. Those who have been through anything from car accident recovery to long term emotional pain such as depression understand the limitations of their pain often define their lives. Getting through the day, let alone connecting to the things we love, can be a tall order.
In this workshop we will look at how to better understand, organize, and equip ourselves for living with pain.
- Unearth the capacity to make choices rather than react to their circumstance
- Develop balance and wholeness instead of taking the quick fix
- Learn to trust the wisdom of their body rather than depend on others to intervene
